Hyland began as a small, hands-on crew building outdoor spaces for Vancouver homeowners who wanted more than simple curb appeal. They wanted places that felt calm, livable, and connected to how they actually spend time outside.

The Hyland Landscapes team brings together landscape architecture, construction, maintenance, and operations under one roof. Nothing gets lost in translation between designer and builder. One accountable team guides your project from concept to completion.
Recognized for excellence
The BC Landscape and Nursery Association has given Hyland Landscapes multiple Landscape Awards of Excellence for design and installation work around Vancouver.
In 2023, Mill Street Oasis took awards in both Landscape Installation (Single Family Residential) and Unique Feature. Westlake was honoured for Unique Feature, and The Barney Backyard Metamorphosis for Landscape Installation. In 2024, Garden Bay Glamping took a Landscape Design award and a Green Stamp for environmental practice.
Westlake and Mill Street Oasis were also 2024 Georgie Awards finalists, in Best Landscape and Best Outdoor Living Space.
