We love our new yard! Thanks to everyone at Hyland Landscapes for creating the patios and gardens that I've dreamed of for years and that are now a beautiful reality. From Mike and Mary, who helped craft the vision and design, to Jason and the friendly, hardworking crew who finished the job on time and on budget, to Joe who responded to any concerns in a timely and respectful manner (and even gave me an impromptu and extremely valuable lesson on how to prune my new plants!), everyone involved was a pleasure to work with. We reached out to Hyland amongst many other landscape companies on our search to revamp our backyard space early last summer. The space was quite small and we wanted to create something that we could enjoy as a family of 5. After consultation with a number of companies we felt the best about our conversation with Mike who had a good sense of what we wanted to achieve and the budget we were working with. Mike was honest in his assessment and was able to kick start the project and design process. Mike had a good eye for detail and design and made great suggestions as we collaborated during the early phase of planning and assessment phase. Once planning was done Mike handed off the project to Nick but remained involved. Nick was very knowledgeable about and has a good eye for detail. As most projects go, there were adjustments to the original design and Hyland (Nick and Jake in particular) were good about managing the changes. Nick was always responsive to my suggestions and they were understanding of the finer details that I wanted addressed with various aspects of the job. We ended up needed to modify the design due to site challenges but he was patient and was able to adapt on the fly and make great suggestions to materials and layout. While the project took longer than we anticipated, the end result was excellent and I feel confident working with Hyland to recommend them for your design and build needs.
